About us
Hey there!
We’re Paloma and Jordan, your friendly hosts at The Lost Flamingo! We’re a lively family of four from sunny Los Angeles. When we’re not out in Joshua Tree, you’ll find us diving into home projects or spending time with friends and family.
Our love affair with Joshua Tree began over a decade ago. From the moment we arrived, we knew we wanted to become part of this enchanting community.
In 2023, our dream was realized when we had the chance to own a slice of this magical landscape. The Lost Flamingo is a labor of love for us and we’ve been working to preserve its original charm while still having all the modern comforts. We’re thrilled to share this special place with you and hope it helps you reconnect and create lifelong memories with your loved ones.
We can't wait to welcome you!

Paloma & Jordan

Pet policy
We are delighted to welcome dogs to our property, which is designed to be dog-friendly. To ensure a high standard of cleanliness, we charge an additional $50 pet fee. This fee compensates our cleaning staff for the extra time required to address pet hair and maintain the property. We permit up to two well-behaved dogs on-site. The pet fee is payable at the time of booking and covers the added cleaning requirements. Please ensure that pets do not sit on furniture, are not left unattended, and that waste is disposed of properly. These guidelines help us provide a clean and pleasant environment for all guests. No other types of animals allowed. Our property includes an enclosed backyard, but for your dog's safety, we recommend keeping your dog on a leash while exploring the area and indoors at night due to the presence of wild animals in the vicinity.

We had an amazing stay at the Lost Flamingo! We enjoyed the house so much it was hard to leave to go explore! It's remote and private but not too far a drive from town or the park or most local attractions.
